Calvary Chapel Roatán has been a beacon of hope on the island for years — a place of worship, community, and outreach for the people of Honduras. But their building is in urgent need of a new roof.

Without it, the congregation is exposed to the elements during every tropical rainstorm. The damage is affecting not just the building, but the ability of the church to gather, worship, and serve their community.

SonRise Mission Inc. is partnering with Calvary Chapel Roatán to raise the $40,000 needed to replace the roof and protect this ministry for the next generation.

Our Partnership

Roatán, Honduras

Roatán is the largest of the Bay Islands of Honduras. While known for its beauty, the island faces significant poverty and limited resources. Calvary Chapel Roatán has been a consistent presence of Gospel hope in this community.

SonRise has sent multiple short-term teams to Roatán and we count Pastor and the congregation as dear friends and partners in the Gospel. This is more than a building project — it's an investment in a thriving local church.
